Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your driver guide will pick you up at your dock. There is a designated area for guests to wait for their tour at each dock.

  • You will need to contact us if you are wanting to be picked up in town. We have a designated area to pick you up in town, if you decide to explore Skagway before your tour.

  • One of our driver guides will meet you at the dock with a sign that says, “Klondike Tours.” You might also want to look for a small white bus that has “Klondike Tours” in red lettering.

  • If your ship misses our port, you will get a full refund for your tour.

  • Check your ticket for information on bringing a passport, as most of our tours require that you have one! Bring warm clothes and check the weather for other clothes you may want to wear.

  • Car seats are not required for our bus. There are seat belt available. If you choose to bring a car seat for your child, you will need to pay the child rate for your tour.

  • No, this is bus tour that is 15-25 seats.

  • Picture stops are at the discretion of the driver, the visibility, and the timing of the tour. Drivers will do their best to accommodate picture stops. If there is a specific picture stop you want to make, please let your driver know.

  • Picture stops are completely optional. You never have to leave the bus for picture stops.

  • There is a good chance at seeing wildlife on our tours, but we do not guarantee a wildlife sighting.

  • The driver will get you back to town or your dock before your ship leaves. They are trained to manage their time.

  • You will have the option to be dropped off in town or at your dock. The drop off location will be a designated area for bus drop-offs, and drivers cannot take you to a specific location.

  • You can cancel your tour 24 hours prior to your tour for a full refund. There may be special circumstances that may allow for a refund, please contact us if you have extenuating circumstances.

  • Drivers will always accept tips for a job well done. Tips are not required but always appreciated!
