This guided U-DRIVE JEEP TOUR is a great way to see the highlights of
both
the Summit and the Yukon - an incredible wilderness area!
Motor up the Klondike Highway, enjoying Gold Rush stories along the
way on
this Yukon mini-adventure. You'll be driving your own personal Jeep
Wrangler up
the Klondike Highway, paralleling the train past magnificent waterfalls
and
spectacular scenery to the summit and beyond. Leave behind the coastal
rainforest as we cross the Canadian border into the sub-arctic alpine
tundra of
the "Tormented Valley", a virtual moonscape.
We'll then journey into boreal forest past crystal lakes, Log Cabin
and the
winter Fantail Trail. Stand on the shores of Lake Tutshi and Tagish,
encircled
by mile high mountains, pose at the Yukon border sign, view the historic
silver
mines of Montana Mountain. The Yukon is always our best opportunity to
encounter
wildlife, so we'll be watching for bears, moose, sheep, goats and
more.
Fully narrated while en route, your guide is available to answer
questions at
each stop. Enjoy a snack and drink in the great outdoors. A fast paced
