This active tour adds a 1.8
mile hike to the Scenic Float Trip. You will retrace the steps
of the Gold Rush stampeders on the infamous Chilkoot Trail,
hiking through a moss-covered northern temperate rainforest.
At the end of the one-way hike we meet the rafts for a relaxing
river trip on the tranquil Taiya River. The hike is moderately
difficult over uneven, hilly terrain for the first mile, then
on mostly flat ground for the remainder. Please wear sturdy
walking shoes and be in good physical condition.
