Your Yukon adventure begins as we follow the
1898 Gold Rush Trail over the summit and on into Canada’s
legendary Yukon. As your guide relates the stories of the stampeders
and their trials, you’ll leave behind the coastal rainforest
and enter the sub arctic alpine tundra of the “Tormented” Valley
- a virtual moonscape! We’ll see the White Pass Trail
of ‘98, the Fantail Trail, and Summit & Fraser Lakes
before passing back into the boreal forest for Lakes Tutshi
and Tagish. This is your best chance to see wildlife in Skagway.
